CORTE MADERA, Calif. _ Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc. (RH) on Monday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $68.4 million.
The Corte Madera, California-based company said it had profit of $2.66 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $3.72 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.59 per share.
The furniture and housewares company posted revenue of $665 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $709.6 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $220.4 million, or $9.07 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.65 billion.
Restoration Hardware shares have decreased 45% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $117.89, a decline of 11% in the last 12 months.
