Royal Family website links to porn site instead of Prince Harry charity

More onRouut

The Royal Family is unknowingly directing visitors on its website to a Chinese porn page.

The X-rated link was discovered in an obscure section of the Queen’s official’s website, highlighting the charities the royals are patrons of.

At first glance, the page for Welsh Charity, Dolen Cymru, appears to be quite normal.

The page reads: ‘The Wales-Lesotho link began in 1985 and has developed educational links, wider young people’s links, health, churches, women’s organisations’.

But when you follow the link to the charity’s website, you are instead directed to a porn site, which offers live sex shows in China.

It’s not known if the royal website was hacked, or whether it’s an error with the charity’s website URL.

Prince Harry, 35, is a patron of Dolen Cymru, which helps communities in Wales and Lesotho, the African country the Duke visited during his gap year before he joined the Army.

When he was named royal patron in 2007, Harry said: ‘I am so very proud to be associated with Dolen Cymru.

‘The work that it does in assisting and encouraging organisations and individuals in Wales to establish contact and foster friendships with their counterparts in Lesotho is quite invaluable.

‘I know from my own work in Lesotho just how important such links are and fully support Dolen Cymru in its great endeavours to develop contacts with organisations with common interests, such as my own Sentebale and to build upon the great understanding and co-operation that exists between the two nations.’

Buckingham Palace has been approached for comment.
